We
divide the project into two phases.
The first phase being the Design phase.
The second being the working drawings. This phase is not started
until the design phase is completed.
At times there may be an extra phase at the start for architectural review
committees.
A fixed verbal fee is given at our first consultation, (this is
complimentary and done on site), followed up with a written fees schedule.
Our fees are based on an effort basis, not as a percentage of the project
cost or on a project square meter rate.

In general the cost of a
building permit approval inclusive of engineers, surveyors, soil test, energy
efficiency reports, council certification and building designers, as a
total the fees range from $8,000 to $14,00 depending on the scope of the
project.
Please note that Town
Planning Fees for duplexes and work outside the normal guide lines and
regulations are additional fess and would depend on the scope of the
project.
