THE
INITIAL MEETING
If you
have decided to renovate or build, the first step is to give as a call to
make a time for us to come out and met with you.
Within a few days we will have
met with you, discussed your ideas, found out what direction you would like
to take and when you'd like to start building.
FEES
At the completion of
the initial appointment you'll have a lot to think about. This
is when you will know if you would like to proceed. You'll be given a
verbal fee followed up with a personalised written fees schedule within 24
hours (usually sent by email). Then it's just a matter of fitting in with
each others schedules. Its as easy as that.
THE PROCESS
We have a two
phase process that we follow that
covers 5 steps. This allows us to provide you with a fixed fee so you can
budget accurately the costs involved in obtaining a permit. We also provide
a handbook that covers the entire process so the confusion of what to do
next is eliminated.
ENGAGEMENT OF
SERVICES
Confirmation of
engaging our services is when you forward us a deposit based on the fees
provided. You'll discover the first phase; the design process, usually
takes the longest time, yet is the most rewarding. The second stage; is the
fine tuning phase followed by the permit application process. Once the
permit application is underway it is best to begin obtaining
quotations. As the design & application process develops
everything begins to fit into a streamline pattern.
FINALIZATION
When the drawings are
ready for permit application, and you are satisfied with the final
plans, prior to releasing drawings you will need to complete your final
payment. On confirmation your drawings can either be provided
electronically or as a paper copy. We provide all our clients with
a personalised CD containing PDF
drawings, Revit drawings and documentation.
You then have the option of printing plans whenever you need.
